I love how some of you know everyone and their lives, and what is best for every child in the entire world.
psnlrd, thank you for your comments, which I found very helpful and polite.
"I understand exactly the wonderment of why and how a College Educated/Career person could or would want to leave a job. I arttribute that to age and experience." I'm sure at some point in time, your age and experience might whack me upon the head, as well.
But, like younger-you, I just can't imagine going to school for 6ish years, and "giving that up" when *I* was MORE than happy at daycare, and know I have a better relationship with my mom than my friends who had stay at home moms do. Of course, I wouldn't assume my kid would be happy just because I was when I was little, but I really think one can tell with their own kids.
I will say that daycares, of any type, aren't the best place to be when there's stuff going around. I got sick a number of times, and head lice once, from day care. But, I got sick at school a lot, too. Things are going to happen no matter where you are.
